As vintage booster packs go, jungle is fairly cheap, I bought this booster in the video below for £20/$28, not bad as I've seen them go for £35 (unlimited) which is still pretty for a 19 year old booster pack lol. Jungle was released in June 1999, young, bright eyed me bounced into the card store eger to spend my hard earn't cash on some of these booster packs. I first bought 6.. opened them all in the shop.. no holo, came back 1 week later bought 10 boosters... opened them in the shop.. still no holo... the next week 1 bought 10 again... again, no f%^king holo! then 2 days later, with the spare change I had left in my pocket I went into the corner shop and bought 1 booster, took it home, had a nap and then opened it, to find a holo kangaskhan, I was over the moon, my mother ran up stairs to see if I was ok.
Now this is the kind of joy you don;t really get with the newer sets, the difficulty in pulling a holo made it so sweet when you did. People who don't understand that don't truly get the joy of a pull. I you're thinking about the money then don't collect, for me collecting is about the wins and loses,if you always win, then cards hold no value at all. This is some thing I feel the vintage sets have over the new sets.
This and the epic art work is why Jungle will always be an amazing set to me.
